Welcome to Senior Music

Senior Music at Kavanagh is a place for students with passion and skill to develop further. Students taking music at Senior levels are dedicated to their own personal practice as well as contributing to the music life of the school.

Music is offered at levels 1, 2 and 3. Students get 4 hours of music per week. The courses offer credits for performing as a soloist or as part of a group—whether this is a rock group or a chamber ensemble. We also offer the students the chance to get credits for their composing skills and musical knowledge.
