  • Have passed all external physics papers from L2 Physics [SC8] preferably with grades of “Merit” and/or “Excellence”
  • Enrolled in a level 3 maths course.

Course Outline

The aim of the course is to solve problems in physics context using appropriate methods, formulae and knowledge of theory.

Topics studied include:

  • Linear and circular motion
  • Simple harmonic motion
  • Wave motion
  • Electromagnetism including AC and DC electricity
  • Modern Physics

As well as this, students examine a topic of their own choice and present a project on this topic.
