Course Outline

Level Two Physics is a challenging course that requires regular revision at home. Students should carefully consider their own academic abilities when selecting this course.

The aim of this course is to solve problems in a Physics context using appropriate methods, formulae and knowledge of theory.  Topics studied include:

  • Measurements and Relationships
  • Wave phenomena including the optics of mirrors and lenses and mechanical waves
  • Mechanics - motion, force, momentum and energy
  • Atoms and Radioactivity
  • Electricity and Electromagnetism

Assessment
