We believe it is essential for International Students to feel safe, secure and have strong assistance to thrive in our school.
We offer all international students the following services, to ensure their time at Trinity Catholic College is happy and successful:
• Dedicated international department staff who are registered teachers
• A family environment within the international student group
• 24/7 Homestay support by our experienced Homestay Coordinator
• Airport pickups when students first arrive in Dunedin and support with medical needs
• Orientation and Buddies, so that students have peers to help them settle into classes
• ESOL classes that offer individualised language programmes
• Academic mentoring and university applications with the Director
• Visa applications and Insurance claims once in New Zealand
• Support with joining sports and cultural teams, so students participate in more than classes
• International student social events within school and as part of the wider Dunedin student community
• A comprehensive pastoral care system that allows students to feel fully integrated into the life of Trinity Catholic College
