Congratulations to Erika Fairweather for achieving the New Zealand Swimming Championship 13 years 1500m Freestyle record in a time of 17:15.28. She smashed the previous record by over 6 seconds!
She also received recognition for the record she broke at the New Zealand Age Group Championships and received the Swimming Otago Naylor Cup for obtaining a New Zealand record during the 2016/17 season.
