The Ōtepoti Youth Space is a pop-up initiative being facilitated by a collective of creative and youth organisations and has been supported by the Otago Community Trust, the Creative Communities Scheme and Dunedin Casino Charitable Trust.

It is based at the Community Gallery on 20 Princes Street (just past Night and Day in the Octagon). There is an opening this Sunday the 8th of May at 2pm with a Mihi Whakatau and the launch of the Art Exhibition.

During the 9th - 21st of May the space will be open daily from 3:30pm to 6:30pm and till 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays, excluding Sundays.

During these two weeks, there will be free workshops such as poetry writing, visual art, dance, digital game design, and personal development that will be run by organisations that are centred around youth support. These will be on from 4:30-6:30 pm - rangatahi can click 'going' on Facebook events, or just show up on the day to participate.

At 6:30pm on Fridays there will be open mic nights and on Saturdays there will be live youth band performances.
