Pani Popo is a favourite amongst Samoan people. Year 10 decided to find out what the fuss was about and soon discovered the magic.

As part of a Cultural Foods study and to honour Samoan Language Week we have looked at examples of Samoan food. Year 10 made Pani Popo, which are Samoan Coconut buns. The process is quite a long one and it was done over two periods. The buns were light and fluffy with a coconut syrup underneath. The students tell me they are very moreish.

Student voice:"They are amazing" "Delicious" "I'm going to make these again" "The best thing we've made"
