Ice Figure Skating Congratulations

Brooke Cathro (Year 9) has been successful in gaining a place to train at the Finnish Institute of Sport in Vierumäki.
She will be training intensively with a range of coaches and skaters with some athletes identified as potential talent to represent Finland at the 2026 Olympics.
It is an incredible opportunity.
In the first camp she is one of 48 skaters, in the second she is one of 19 skaters. Seemingly she is the only international skater this year.
Brooke is working towards making an A selection status at the National Championships and also hopes to be training in Brisbane later in September/October.
