Special Character Reflection

Good Morning everyone, last week we focused on St. Dominic and this coming monday is the assumption of Mary which we will be focusing on in today's reflection. This coming weekend as well is the Bishops Shield, for everyone who is participating and helping out we wish you all the best and good luck!! 

 This week we celebrate the assumption of Mary. The assumption teaches that at the end of her time on earth, Mary was taken up - body and soul into heaven. Mary reveals what God desires to do in each of our souls and helps us visualize our last union with Christ. We are called to be like Mary to give up our own will, but more importantly we should all make Mary as our guide in everything we do. 

We will now all pray the Hail Mary - 

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
