Rugby Girls on Fire at Logan Park

The junior girls played Kaikorai Valley College in their first game and won 34-5. Then there was a major upset in their second game when the beat St Hilda's A team 29-7. This was a major turn around and amazing result as this was the same team that beat us by 40 points in the first game. Shannya MacRae and Jamaica Cabantoc continued to score long range suburb tries and Emma Christophers and Sylvie Latton were tigers in defence.

The senior girls played Taieri and won comfortably in the end 32-17. Jamie Church continued her dominant form, Helene Elisara and Emma White made a mountain of tackles and Elisha Brocklehurst crashed over the line for her first try.

Overall, these girls are performing very well and have made great progress over the last month. Well done girls and keep it going!
