While the school is officially open for instruction it is impossible to continue classes in these year levels in the absence of the majority of staff.

We will be able to provide some support and supervision for students if required. Please advise the school office by 9.00am on  the day required if you wish to use this supervision. Any students requiring supervision should meet at the school office.

Please note that the buses will be running at the usual times on these strike days and that the school canteen will also be operating on these days.

Please be aware that this action may also be called off by the PPTA and we ask that you listen to media reports. If the Strike action is averted, we will e-mail parents.

At this stage we have not received formal notice about the Proposed Regional Strike for Otago / Southland/ Aoraki Region on Wednesday 19 June. We will keep you informed as further information comes to hand.

We hope that this situation can be resolved as soon as possible.
