Week 7

The Development team took on the Logan Park Colts on Tuesday night and played their hearts out to the very end.

Although the final score was not in our favour, I think it is fair to say it didn’t reflect the way the game was played. The team worked hard to feed the ball up into our attacking circle which provided a number of goal scoring opportunities.

A couple of standout runs by Cody Paulsen and Oliver Sinclair, with support from their team mates, showed just how far this team has come. Malcolm Reynolds and Luca Holloway provided the team with a strong defensive line as our full backs. Together they performed some great intercepts and strong tackles to prevent the ball from entering our defensive circle.

We had three goals for the game - to communicate, mark their players tightly and to support each other for passing options. The team executed these goals to a high standard and is a reflection on the hard work that they having been putting in at training. The team should be very proud of their hard fought effort.
