St Dominic

On Friday 2nd August, at 10.00am, the Catholic Schools in the Dunedin area which were founded by the Dominican Order, celebrate St Dominic's feast day with a joint Mass at Holy Name. All Year 7 students will be attending. Come and celebrate with us!
Saint Dominic loved and cared for the poor. By his example we can also show love and care for those in need and reach out to help them.
As part of this example he has set for us, we would like to take a collection at the Dominican Mass next week and send the funds to two Dominican schools in the Solomon Islands who are in desperate need of support.
Please send your child to school with a gold coin donation on
Thursday August 1st.
We will be presenting the money to the Dominican Sisters who teach at
these schools at the Dominican Conference in October this year.
