HIVE OF ACTIVITY AT PFA/BOT WORKING BEE LAST SUNDAY

By Rebecca Meikle | Posted: Tuesday July 30, 2019

Last Sunday the Kavanagh PFA and BOT held a working bee and tackled a few tasks in the Mercy Yard.

We were delighted by the number of Kavanagh families and students who turned up to lend a hand…and tools, water blasters, wheelbarrows, trucks and more. We were very grateful for the generosity and hard work from all attendees – a big shout out to Richard Forbes who kindly used his truck to transport the oat husk mulch. Amid the hard work there was a lot of cheery chatter - a lovely highlight of the day for all of us was meeting and getting to know people in the Kavanagh community. By the end of the afternoon the Mercy Yard had certainly been enhanced after everyone’s efforts.

Every so often we will hold more working bees so if you are keen to join in the fun then watch this space!
