See below for this week's hockey report

Development:

Despite losing by nine goals the team put in a strong defensive effort, with fullback Malcolm Reynolds playing a solid game. Played on the first day of winter weather with cold rain the team struggled to get going, but ventured into the JMC circle and won a penalty corner. Unfortunately resolute defence meant they couldn’t convert. Ethan Walsh continues to improve in the mid field, reading the play well and set up many of our attacks.

Firsts:

After a disappointing effort last week the team bounced back to play their best game of the season, blitzing LPHS firsts 5-1. Every one of the 13 players stood up and combined with each other to score some beautiful goals. As such it’s hard to single out single players because this was a genuine team effort, however captain Ellery Campbell with three goals deserves a mention. He was resolute on defence and set the team alight with pinpoint accurate passes to his team mates.
