Greetings to all students and members of the Kavanagh College community and welcome back to the final term for 2017.

Term 3 was exceptionally busy for everyone trying to keep learning goals on track amidst winter sport, cultural and co-curricular activities.  It is time now to focus on getting our students through final exams and assessments to ensure everyone reaches their goals and fulfils their potential.

Often students studying for exams decide not to attempt certain external papers thinking they have sufficient credits to progress without them only to find that these elements are required at University or Level 2 and 3 courses.  The notion of avoiding needs to be set aside and students encouraged to study for, and attempt the whole course.  Your endorsement of this at home would be much appreciated.

Many staff are offering tutorials after school and weekends.  Please encourage your son/daughter to take full advantage of these opportunities.

The junior school also have a busy program this term.  The junior school assessment week starts on 6 November with Year 8 and 10 camps later in the term.

God bless
