OTAGO U18 WOMEN'S RUGBY

Congratulations to Year 12 students Jamie Church and Helene Elisara for their selection into the Otago U18 women's rugby team!
Jamie and Helene have been in blistering form so far this season and thoroughly deserve their selection. Girl's and women's rugby in New Zealand is at an all time high right now. Our world champion Black Ferns team have been crushing any team that has stood in it's way for the past two years.
Women's rugby at Kavanagh College has a proud tradition with former student, now professional rugby player, Black Fern Kilisitina Moata'ane, making her debut in Perth recently in the Laurie O'Reilly Memorial Trophy test.
On behalf of the college, I would like to wish Jamie and Helene all the best with their upcoming representative fixtures.
