Tena Koutou. Greetings

Senior Prizegiving last night was a tremendous showcase of the College's talented students backed up today with a heart-warming Mass to farewell Year 13.

Congratulations to our Co Dux Jacob Larson and Tuseka Njoko and Proxime Accessit Anthony Mirfin.

My thanks goes to all of this year’s Head Students—Sophie Whibley, Nathaniel Peacock, Alexi Hart and Niko Cockerell and all the student leaders who have done a tremendous job in a range of areas in supporting their peers and the College as a whole.

Congratulations to our 2018 leadership team: Head Students Therese Makasini and Nick Parata and Deputy Heads Lily McKewen and Soni Taungapeau. My sincere thanks to all students who had the courage to step up and put themselves forward. Once again we had a very strong group of students to select from and we have the makings of a strong leadership team across the senior cohort next year.

NCEA exams begin for the seniors next Thursday, 9 November. Best wishes to all for a successful outcome.

For Years 7 to 10 there are plenty of things on over the next month including assessment week, the Year 8 camps beginning on the 21st and the Year 10 camps on 27th November.

Thanks to parents and friends of the College who are supporting a whole range of programs including reader/writers who do a vital job assisting a number of our students to complete tests and exams.

Please pray for those in our community who have suffered hardship or illness recently. Let us continue to pray for them and to actively reach out and support those we know are facing difficulties.
