Wednesday night saw the opening match of the Twilight Smash T20 competition as the Kavanagh Renegades took on Bayfield.
The game 'came down to the wire' as Bayfield knocked off the Renegades 94 for 6 in the penultimate over. The Renegades acquitted themselves well with superb catches from catches from Mickle Jose and Josh Baughan as well as some excellent bowling from Nico O'Connor in the dying stages. Baughan also did well with the bat with significant time spent at the crease.
