PUBLIC SPEAKING & COMMUNICATION AND SPEECH & DRAMA TUITION AT KAVANAGH COLLEGE 2020

Public Speaking & Communication and Speech & Drama lessons will be conducted by three Otago University students for 2020; Jesse Matheson (LLB/BAppSc), Ciara O’Donnell (BA- English and Education), and Lucy Wilkins (BA- Linguistics, French, and Anthropology) under the guidance of Mrs Mary Flaherty.
Public Speaking & Communication opens students to a world of skills such as prepared talks, impromptu talks, reading aloud, telephoning exercises and debating. In Speech & Drama, students will explore poetry, improvisation, reading aloud, plays, and characterisation. Students will be able to learn through the Speech New Zealand or Trinity College syllabi, and may sit examinations at the end of the year.
