BMX Sucess For Wadsworth and Anderson.

The BMX NZ South Island Champs where held recently in Alexandra and Kavanagh College had two representatives in attendance. Bella Wadsworth, Year 13 (2020) and Bella Anderson, Year 7.
Bella Wadsworth raced well in the highly competitive 17 to 24 year old race group. She was looking likely to get a podium 3rd place or 4th, but was unlucky to be caught up in a crash in the final and finished in 8th place.
Bella Anderson, who’s only racing in her second season, raced extremely well against girls her own age with vastly more experience racing but she constantly finished 3rd in her racing all weekend and took the 3rd place podium place in the final.
Congratulations to both Kavanagh students.
