Congratulations to Erika Fairweather

Regularly getting up at 4.00am and swimming up to 10 kilometres per day has recently paid off for Erika Fairweather. Not only is she the holder of many National swimming records but she has also recently been named by Swimming New Zealand on the Long List for swimmers eligible for selection to attend the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games.

To be eligible, a swimmer must have been born between 1 January 2000 and 31 December 2003 and have swum a long course time that is 700 or above FINA Points.

This is a fantastic achievement by Erika.
