During Cook Islands Language Awareness Week (Sunday 2 August to Saturday 8 August 2020) Nadia Uriaro supported by her sister Star, presented sessions on Cook Islands' History, Culture, Language and Performance.

As part of the Dominican Mass on (Tuesday August 4th), the Kavanagh Cook Islands students with the support of their Pasifika peers were part of the Offertory procession, where they united with Cook Island students from other Dominican Schools. The Dominican Sisters were presented with flower garlands to the beat of the Cook Island drums.

It was a wonderful week had by all, ending with a feast and performances. The Cook Island donuts were a big hit! A massive meitaki ma'ata to the Uriaro family and their extended family for their support throughout the week.

Kia manuia! Amelia Bresanello and Pesamino Tili
