Enviro Week is Coming!

By Nina O'Callaghan | Posted: Wednesday September 23, 2020

The Senior Enviro Council is excited to share the news of the Kavanagh College Enviro Week.

Set for Term 4 Week 2, the week will entail a range of fun, exciting activities, including beeswax wrap making, clothes swaps, kahoots, a sustainable mufti day, competitions and more. These activities will revolve around how to sustain our environment and help Kavanagh and its community become more environmentally aware and sustainable.

During the week we will also be introducing the new recycling and compost bins, which will be installed during the holidays. We highly encourage the students and the whole Kavanagh College community to embrace and enjoy this fun week. It will be a great learning opportunity while also bringing a range of fun activities to get involved with, find out what the Enviro Group is all about, and how you can become more environmentally sustainable.

More information about specific events will be in the newsletter in Week 1, but in the meantime, volunteers of any year level are invited to a planning meeting on the first day back at lunchtime in D2.2.
