Tēnā tātou - Greetings everyone

Yesterday we welcomed three of our Catholic primary schools to Kavanagh College for a day of learning and fun. Students were taught Science, Te Reo Māori, Digital Technology and Physical Education by Kavanagh College staff as part of Te rā nui ki waho/The big day out experience. The bubbly students were highly engaged with learning and had a wonderful time.

Thanks must go to everyone who made this day such a success especially to our Year 7 mentors (and former students) who showed their rangatiratanga (leadership) and manaakitanga (caring, kindness and hospitality). They were: Mattias Ng, Billie Fraser, Bella Anderson, Maddy Maschamp, Isla Simonsen, Charli Innes and Annie Duncan.

Thank you also Kavanagh College teachers Mrs Kerron Thomson and Mr Ian Adamson for their contribution yesterday.

In week five we welcome back mighty St Bernadette's! Hei konā ma - Goodbye for now.
