Sports/PE Uniform Changes 2021

From the start of 2021 the sale of the Kavanagh College sports/PE uniform is being moved off site to the Otago Sports Depot on George St opposite Farmers

We have a new supplier in Gilbert Sportswear and they will supply all our uniforms going forward out of the Otago Sports depot. We will have a designated rack for all the Kavanagh College garments. As a minimum requirement, every student requires a new top and shorts right across all year levels. I understand that this will take a little time in transitioning from the old uniforms to the new ones.

For Year 11-13 students, if you don't play sport or do PE, then you don't require a uniform.

Attached is a picture of the new uniform. There will be a female cut available in the shorts also. Our aim is the Kavanagh College PE uniform can be used for multiple sports such as touch, futsal, social volleyball, tennis, badminton, junior football and junior hockey. Uniforms requiring a number such as basketball, will continue to be hired out to students as per previous years. Senior A uniforms for the majority of teams will also continue to be hired out and supplied by the College. Netball is the exception. We are looking at designing a new one piece dress for all players and all participants will be expected to buy their own dress across all year levels. The dress is likely to look the same as the current Senior A dress so we have consistency across all teams. This will be stocked at the Otago sports depot.
