Girl's Hockey Report

Kavanagh played Logan Park High School in what we thought would be a tight game and it certainly played out that way. Whenever we got a fast break the Logan Park fullback came up with a tackle and whenever the Logan Park girls got through our defence our keeper, Keyra Webb, saved the shot. This scenario played out several times causing both coaches moments of panic or pride.  
Keyra showed the benefits of hard club hockey and came up with numerous saves as well as marshalling the defence. The end result was no goals scored against us, but unfortunately we couldn't get past their fullback and test their goalie, so nil all was probably a fair result.
