Agribusiness Update

By Jill Armstrong | Posted: Wednesday May 12, 2021

Under The Door Enterprises (YES team) has produced a 60-second video for an application for seed funding.

The Wool Shed features in the video and, if successful, the team are planning to use funds to cover expenses incurred so far and to give koha to people who have already provided materials.

Yesterday, the team met with Regan Powell, Kaiārahi ako/teaching mentor from Young Enterprise and he was able to answer any questions and reassure the team they were well on their way to being a successful company.

Upcoming event next week: Field trip to local agribusinesses.

Year 10 Economics

Mark Hindle (ex-Kavanagh College student) from Tenancy Services Compliance & Investigations team visited the class and spoke about his role as a Compliance Officer. Mark works as part of a team to visit rental properties and work alongside landlords and tenants to ensure all properties are compliant.
