The Sisters United programme has began at Kavanagh College!

Sisters United is a peer-mentoring programme for Pasifika young women Years 9 - 11 based in High Schools in New Zealand. Adi Garnett, Melina Lam Cheung, Emmeline Taimalie are the leaders of the programme for Kavanagh College this year.

Year 13 Mentors within each school are trained by Sisters United staff with the skills and resources to Mentor and facilitate the programme to Year 9-11 Pasifika female students within their own schools.

Through the Crown Yourself young women improve their wellbeing, self-confidence, self-esteem and life skills through educational and creative workshops such as dance, music, spoken work and art.

We look forward to working together more as a group
