Kavanagh Basketball and Miniball Season Underway

The busy basketball season is underway with all teams having played their first games.
Kavanagh College Basketball has eleven Friday night Basketball teams and four Monday night Miniball teams representing the College this season.
The first rounds have been grading games with the first rounds of competition games starting this week.
All teams have made a positive start to the season.
Special mention this week to the Senior Boys Blue team who have been graded into A Grade this season. Our two Junior Boys teams have made a very promising start to the season, with the Junior Boys Red team having started with two excellent wins.
Congratulation to the Senior Girls Blue team who recently beat Otago Girls High School in their Tuesday night game.
The Senior Girls Red team have made a winning start to the defense of their 2016 title!
The Year 8 Boys team impressed on Monday night with their win over Taieri College and look to have a lot of promise.
A huge thank you to all of our coaches, managers and supporters for their time, effort and commitment.
