Girls Rugby Sevens

This term we have about 20 Year 9-13 girls playing rugby 7s, one junior and one senior team.
This week was the first week of competitions against other Otago schools down at Logan Park.
The girls were lucky enough to meet some of the Black Ferns and see the World Cup. The girls are very fortunate to have a member of the Black Ferns squad and ex-Kavanagh student, Tina Moa’atane coaching them this year.
It is great to have lots of new girls playing this year and I look forward to seeing them develop over the term.
