Mufti Day - Nano Nagle Charitable Trust

The Trust was formed in 2009 by the Presentation Sisters and Friends of Nano as a Jubilee initiative. This initiative continues the work of Venerable Nano Nagle, Foundress of the Presentation Sisters, who, despite significant personal danger, set up illegal schools for Catholic children in Ireland during the time of the penal laws. The Trust is a registered NZ trust and is dependent on donations. Every cent goes towards supporting financially disadvantaged children to attend Catholic Schools. So far children have been assisted in the Wellington, Palmerston North and Dunedin dioceses.
