Girls:
In another dominant display of teamwork the girls demolished OGHS 2nds 8-1.

Brigid Corson scored more goals in this game than her entire season last year, netting six. Sophie Wallis continued to lead from the front with two goals and owned the midfield. Hannah Larson was welcomed back to the team and built a solid midfield combo with Summer Paulin. Ruby La Hood and Cody Paulsen proved unbeatable at the back, tackling anything that moved.

As the girls learn to trust and have confidence in each other, they will go from strength to strength and become the team to beat.

Boys:
The second game in the div saw the lads take the learnings and confidence from last week into a tight tussle with Johnnies Firsts, finally going down 4-0.

After a nervous start that let one slip in the net, they shut out the Johnnies attack and started to cause frustration demonstrated by the carding of a Johnnies player.

We repelled 15 penalty corners, with Taryn Doyle showing exceptional pace off the line, and an albatross like wingspan to disrupt the shots. Goalie Hunter Burke saved an incredible 25 shots, just plain solid in goal. Captain Nick Parata carved up the midfield with some deft runs and cracking long balls.
