Your Edge app allows you to notify an absence for your child.

You will find this functionality when you log into your phone app. If you have more than one child, you choose the absence button associated with the child who will be absent.
Follow through with the choices and you will be asked to provide details for any reason not covered by the options provided. If the absence will be longer than three days or more than two weeks into the future, we would still appreciate a phone call to our school office. The ability to call from the app is also possible.
If your child has an NCEA assessment, we will still require a medical certificate if the assessment is only specified for that date and there is no reassessment opportunity.
The app shows the school that the message has come from a caregiver's phone so students will not find this functionality on their phones.
