Girls 7s Rugby

The girls played some fantastic rugby and have shown some huge improvement since the start of the season.
Yesterday afternoon our senior team won their semi final, then after a tightly fought battle with St Hilda's lost in the final. They were a bit light on numbers due to injury and illness.
Our junior team bet a strong Taieri team in the semi final and played a brilliant game in the final to beat Otago Girls High School to become Junior Girls 7s winners in Otago.
The following girls can be congratulated on their achievement and some great rugby: Olivia Hiku, Jade Couch, Dre Whaanga, Helene Elisara, Arizona McFarlane, Jinaya Clark, Anita Samasoni and Ona Fraser
