Cellphone Policy

Thank you to those people who offered feedback on our proposed cellphone policy which also includes headphone/earbuds use.
Community and staff feedback was reviewed and some amendments were made to the policy which the Board has now confirmed for implementation.
From now, the intention is to have a lead-in education period with the students, so they are aware of the policy details, how to ensure they follow it, and so they know the consequences should they choose not to follow the policy. The policy will be implemented after Easter.
Exemptions, as per the policy, will be organised prior to Easter, in association with deans and learning support staff.
