Course Outline
The course is a mixture of internal and external standards that prepare the student for Level Two Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Earth & Space Science.

Exercise and heart rate, caffeine and heart rate etc..
Sports Science (to revisit some mechanics and forces)
Teeth type vs diet
Genetic variation and pattern seeking eg relationship of arm span to height etc

Human contexts eg stomach cancer gene CDH1, Huntington’s disease

AS 92020 - Demonstrate understanding of the relationship between a microorganism and the environment. 5 credits

AS 92022 - Demonstrate understanding of genetic variation in relation to an identified characteristic. 5 credits
