The National Schools Hip Hop Competition is a national series of competitions, supporting and raising the profile of youth Hip Hop in schools.

This year we are looking at entering a team into the Intermediate category. The Otago & Southland regionals will take place on 30 July in Invercargill. Auditions to be a part of the crew will take place Thursday 10th March, 8am in the Auditorium. Our rehearsals will also primarily take place weekly at the same time of 8am Thursday mornings.

The Intermediate category is for Year 7 & 8 students. Year 9’s are welcome to also audition, however the competition rules state that the team must be predominantly made up of Year 7 & 8 students.

Participating students must be able to show their vaccine pass in order too participate.

Dance experience is preferred. However if you think you are able to move and groove, we would love to have you come and try out for the team

If you are unable to come along to the audition but want to be involved, please get in contact. We understand that there may be some absences during this time so are happy to accommodate organising something different for you if need be.
