Isolation Requirements Reminder

By Staff | Posted: Monday March 28, 2022

If your child is not attending school please ring the office in the first place with the reason why they are absent and the number of days you expect them to be away.

If they have tested positive, they are required to isolate for 7 days (the day of the test being day 0).  They will not need to be retested after their initial positive result.  If they still have symptoms after seven days, please keep them home until they feel better and then wait another 24 hours.

If they are a household contact and they have done a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) on both day 3 and 7 of the isolation period of the first Covid-19 positive person in your house, and both tests are negative, they can leave isolation on day 8 if they are well.

The key message for everyone is if you feel sick, stay at home.
