Over the past three weeks, we have hosted 20 students and staff from the biggest school in Thailand.
Our Year 9 and Year 10 classes all had Thai students join them, and we are very proud of the excellent job that our students did as buddies. New friendships have been made and we would like to thank our homestay families for hosting too. The students spent time in Kavanagh classes, did day trips around Otago and then traveled to Queenstown for 3 days before returning to Thailand.
The agents who arranged the tour with Kavanagh (American Learning, Bangkok), also had groups in Canada, Australia and China at the same time, we were the only New Zealand school involved.
Satriwitthaya 2 School in Bangkok has over 5000 students, so the group found Kavanagh a fun and quieter school experience. The students were happy, friendly and we were very pleased to have the group here.
เจอกันใหม่ – (jəə gan mài) See you again!
