Ski Trip 9-11th September

Last Friday after a beautiful day at the Caledonian, fourteen students and three members of staff set off for Wanaka for the 2022 Year 11 Kavanagh College ski trip.
Mr Sole drove the school van with a trailer full of equipment and Ms Caparn and Iris drove their cars.
We stopped in Alexandra for tea and arrived at the holiday park in Wanaka just after 8.30pm. We rose at six on Saturday and Sunday and were up at the slopes just before 8am. There were cloudless blue skies on both Saturday and Sunday. Some Year 11s snowboarded while others skied and as you can imagine there were some spectacular crashes!
We arrived back in Dunedin just after 9.30pm on the Sunday evening exhausted but having had an amazing weekend on the slopes. Great memories for all participants
