Trinity Enviro-Week is coming up!

Term 2, week 2 (1st of May-5th of May), will be the first-ever Trinity enviro week!

Enviro-week is a week-long event to raise awareness and provide students the opportunity to make sustainable decisions. To help with this, our enviro group has worked hard to plan events scheduled throughout the week!

Monday (May 1st)

Chalk Art in the venues around the school

Tuesday (May 2nd)

Beeswax wraps made by your envirogroup, are being sold from the canteen classroom. Beeswax wraps are reusable wraps to keep your lunch fresh, leaving a better impact on our environment! Prices range from $4.00-$6.00.

Wednesday (May 3rd)

Clothing swap. Bring clothes you are not using anymore to D22 (the geography classroom) at lunch and potentially pick up something new for yourself!

Thursday (May 4th)

Thursday will be a sustainable mufti-day. Show up to school wearing non-branded/no-label clothing or thrifted clothing from your closet. Even wear the clothes you got from the clothing swap on Wednesday (if any)! As well as this mufti day, crafts are being sold around the canteen classroom. This includes items such as jewellery, crochet, and tote bags! Stop by and purchase an environmentally friendly crafted item for yourself.

Friday (May 5th)

To mark the final day of enviro-week, the movie “Wall-E” is playing in the Auditorium during interval and lunch. The first half is playing during interval, and the second half is during lunch. Just show up and bring your own food!

Throughout the week you are also welcome to visit to the library to enjoy environment – related colouring activities.
