Winning Semis Premier Division in Aoteroa Online Schools' Debating

Debating in the same room may have been banned during lockdown but that did not stop debaters across New Zealand coming together to create their own unique competition online.

Rosa, along with her team, Robert Donohoe (Bayfield High School) and Lara Seaton (Columba College) won the semifinal competition last night and are advancing to the final on Monday! Rosa loved the online experience saying, "it was great to be able to debate teams from around New Zealand that they would not have been able to otherwise. Even with the odd technical difficulty, it's been a lot of fun and a great way to spend quarantine."
