Kia ora Koutou. Greetings to all
Yesterday I advised the community that I am stepping out of my Principalship role for a spell as I am going on medical leave from next week. I expect to be away from school for about 4-6 weeks. My condition is not life threatening but requires some ongoing treatment to put right. The outlook for me is very positive so I thank everyone for their prayerful support and good wishes.
In the meantime, Steve Read will be Acting Principal and Trish James, Acting Deputy. I thank them, the Board, staff and students for pulling together during my absence. We are fortunate to have an experienced leadership team and I expect the College to continue to move forward toward successful outcomes in what is another busy term.
Kia Kaha, Kia toa, Kia Manawanui!
