Year 7 Overnight Adventure

By Jane de Graaf | Posted: Tuesday March 7, 2023

This overnight adventure at Puketeraki Marae in Karitane is getting closer.

The purpose of the camp is to come together as a year group and develop a sense of belonging.  To give every student an opportunity to develop confidence and make connections which will enhance not only their sense of well-being, but also strengthen our sense of school community.  It is also a wonderful opportunity to learn about the history of the people in Karitane and explore why this area is important to us.

Classes will be leaving school as follows:

7DGR and 7OCS - Monday 13th March at 9.00am and returning at 2.30pm on Tuesday 14th March

7BON and 7BAR - Tuesday 14th March at 9.00am and returning at 2.30pm on Wednesday 15th March.

Students are to be at school by 8.30am and wearing mufti on the day of their adventure.

Please bring a packed lunch and water.

All caregivers have received an email with the gear list required. Please also ensure that all items are named.
