Rockshop Bandquest 2023

For the 2023 Rockshop Bandquest event, held at Taieri College, Trinity Catholic College entered “The Wallflowerz “ - comprised of Jemma Hapeta on Bass Guitar (Yaer 7), Camila Barnes on Keyboard (Year 8) and Isla Harris on Electric Guitar (Year 7) and all on joint vocals.
Over the past six weeks, the group has been having regular rehearsals in preparation for this event, and come show night, they did not under deliver! Confidence, quality talent and pure enjoyment and excitement, got the audience captivated right from the beginning of their act! Count on Me, by Bruno Mars and Kiss Me, by Six Pence None the Richer, were the band’s song choices and they definitely did these artists proud!
The experience was second to none and talk is already underway about Bandquest 2024! A special thank you to Ms Watts for supporting and working with the band.
