Monday 4th December - 5.00pm

Dear Parents and Whānau

Every two years we hold a parent evening to seek community voice regarding Health and Human Sexuality Education for our rangatahi/students here at Trinity Catholic College. Our teaching of Human Sexuality is taught in many ways throughout the school as human sexuality consists of all of the characteristics which make a person uniquely who they are - beautifully and wonderfully made in the image of God.

Our Human Sexuality teaching framework is based on the Ministry of Education Physical Education and Health Curriculum and framed within our Catholic Bishops Curriculum document 'Wonderfully Made in Gods Image'.

We will be holding a parent/whanau consultation on Monday the 4th of December at 5pm in the Trinity College Staffroom.

All parents and whanau are warmly invited to attend.

Please RSVP to Mr Hamish Sutherland (Director of Religious Studies - Curriculum) - hsutherland@trinity.school.nz on or before Friday the 1st of December.

As well as this all parents / whanau will have the opportunity to offer their voice through a survey that will be sent out.

Nga mihi,

Hamish Sutherland (Director of Religious Studies) and Anthony Harris (Head of Health and Physical Education)
