Envirogroup

The Trinity Envirogroup have been hard at work preparing a new garden adjacent to the Foods Room so that produce can be used by cooking classes.

They also want to remind people that carbon dioxide from human activities is increasing about 250 times faster than it did from natural sources after the last Ice Age, but that you can help by using reusable water bottles, reusable lunch boxes, and beeswax wraps.

Our group has some beeswax wraps available for purchase if you would like one. The group also has some excellent home-grown jokes for you:

What do you call a man digging up weeds?
Doug.

Did you hear about the Power Plant that was bad for the environment all year?
He got coal for Christmas.

If you meet a new person, start talking about global warming.
It’s a real icebreaker.
