In the past two weeks the Kavanagh Senior A Girls Basketball team has celebrated two titles
In the Otago Senior Premier grade we won all our games through the season before topping it off with a win in the final against the five year defending champs, St Hilda's Senior A. We then attended the South Island Secondary Schools "A" premiership where we qualified for the Secondary Schools "A" nationals, which our Senior A Boys team also qualified for, winning their last game 83-55.
On behalf of us all I'd like to say a big thank you to Gerard Mullin for all the time and effort he's put into our team for the past four or so years and to Nat for coaching the boys and always having input to benefit our team. Another thank you to Mrs Cameron and Wendy Blackford for managing our teams, supporting us and cooking our meals.
I look forward to going to Nationals with you all and I hope we can continue this winning streak!
