Cultural Gold Award - Nominations Close 6 September

By Tor Devereux | Posted: Tuesday August 29, 2023

The Cultural Gold Award is a new award being presented this year.

Students can nominate themselves for a Gold Award, or parents/caregivers can nominate their child by completing the Google form: https://forms.gle/qc38NU1FYNJ3dV689

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday 6 September 2023.

This award is similar to a Blue in terms of the level of achievement required, but it is given in an activity not offered by the school (whereas Blues and all other cultural awards are for school-related activities).

To receive a Cultural Gold Award a student must have gained recognition of outstanding achievement or excellence through performance, competition or examination at the highest level in a cultural activity not offered by the school. The recipient must also be a reliable and committed performer who reflects the school values at all times.

Seniors being awarded a Cultural Gold Award will receive these at the Cultural and Sporting Blues Evening (on 11 October), while juniors will receive their award at the Cultural Awards (on 18 October).

Please note that completing the nomination form does not guarantee that the nominee will receive an award.
